We are looking for an eager, can-do, Jack or Jill of all trades type person for our Operation Assistant role. The right person for this role will be a self-starter with mechanical aptitude and a knack for organization.

Expectations

• Work Tuesday through Friday 7am to 5:45pm.
• Self-starter – take initiative in progressive steps on each project, self-directed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy work space
• Project a friendly, kind, and positive attitude
• Able to follow directions, work as a team, or as an individual
• Take pride in work completed

Duties

• Run errands and pickup orders at vendors.
• Clean, organize, and inventory shop tools and supplies
• Track quantities of shop supplies and reorder as needed
• Wash and detail vehicles ready for delivery
• Run pickups and deliveries of vehicles and customers
• Light facilities maintenance tasks such as hanging signs, repairing toilet valves, patching holes, paint touch up, etc.
• Assist build techs when a second pair of hands is required. Ie: lifting cabinets into place, laying flooring, installing windows
• Assist in batch-parts assembly and prep: ie: cut and terminate wires, sand wood parts, cut wood nailers
• Ensure shop vehicles are properly maintained
• Maintain safety equipment and supplies
• Build miscellaneous racks, hangers, or other fixtures for shop organization purposes
• Eagerly jump on miscellaneous assigned tasks

Requirements

• Clean Driving record
• 1 year experience with power tools such as sanders, jigsaw, router, table saw.
• Familiar with vehicle parts and accessories, building materials, and shop supplies.
• Must be proficient in using Windows or Mac Operating Systems, Google Docs, Asana and Slack
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• 1 year or more in similar role
