Shortly after listing the van over a year ago, I took it to a dealer for a recall on the transmission. Due to the recall, the wait for a replacement transmission was almost a year. Since then, I spent several thousand dollars and a few hundred hours on improvements/changes I wished I made in the original build, and getting the van in the best possible condition. I am increasing the price to $79,995. Even with the improvements, it is still priced to sell $2,300 below the Fair Market Value determined by Camper Van Appraisals. The 24-page appraisal report states,
“While retaining the basic external looks and characteristics of this 2020 RAM PROMASTER 3500 van, this 2-wheel drive CAMPER VAN features virtually all the options and comforts that you might expect to find in a modern full-sized motorhome. It was custom fabricated using the finest components available.”
The van can connect to shore power but offers the comforts of home while completely off grid. Everything in the van is either solar-powered or gets its power from the van itself:
The electrical system is based on the high standards set by the experts at EXPLORIST.life for the components, wiring, installation and component programming as shown in this DIY Sprinter Camper Van Electrical Install – Full Tutorial video from EXPLORIST.life Electrical. (https://youtu.be/01F4QDVJUq0?si=gaRo9clb7KmZNhav). Because the van uses so little electricity, I opted for a 2000w inverter instead of a 3000w inverter. The larger inverter is best for high demand appliances like a microwave or convection oven. The system consists entirely of Victron Components and Battleborn Batteries:
*** I did a professional quality detailing of the van exterior and cab including machine polishing and ceramic coating. The insurance policy is transferable, and the transaction will be safely handled by KeySavvy.
